If you like roguelikes and city builders, this is your game. The game could have been released in its state months ago and I would have loved it, but the devs keep giving us new mechanics and QoL updates. Buy it now or wait for the official release- either way you're going to get a great game. Highly recommend if you want something to steal your time.

Get the mod to have multiple players. It really improves the gameplay. I'd love to see a few more perks or modes added. Such a fun game for the price. The 3.8 I have a the time of writing this? All in one session. You're missing out if you aren't playing this.

As of writing this, I've played for about twenty minutes of my listed play time. The rest was troubleshooting as it would crash either the game or my entire computer.

Edit: Steam won't let me refund despite playing for one life before uninstalling. I feel robbed that they don't consider the request. This game blue screened my computer FOUR times before I was able to actually play it. What an absolute scam. Don't buy this garbage. It isn't even worth it on sale. #TF24Ever

Had my eye on this for a minute and it was in the Humble Bundle. At first blush, this game looked great. A little grittier, slower pacing. The I realized that nothing about the game changed as you progressed. I 'beat' the game on my second run using weapons that you unlock very early (the double-barrel and luck pistols). The controls are frustrating and don't react whatsoever. If I'm in the genre, I need tight controls and this game botched it entirely. It's worth playing if you get it cheap, but I wouldn't but it.

It took about 20 hours before I really began to enjoy this game, but once I had the mechanics down I fell in love. This is probably my favorite 4X game (you can check my hours. I love this genre) and it doesn't even have DLC yet.

After playing Stellaris, I thought it would be a long time before something would come along to top it in terms of complexity, enjoyment, and strategy. Thank God I was wrong.
