I would rather get stabbed 20 times in the testicles than deal with anymore of this game's input lag. I'm embarassed to have paid money for this. The game is incredibly poorly optimized, and its fundementals are just completely broken: the game does an incredibly poor job in teaching you how to play, the input lag (even on single player), makes the movement, shooting, defending, and playmaking controls sluggish and unresponsive. The myplayer system is made in such a way that the game will make you consistently fail at whatever it wants you do (and reward you too little for playing), that one may be influenced into buying virtual currency. Even if you can disregard the broken, fundemental mechanics of this game and the con artistry of their virtual currency system, the game will frequently softlock as the 2k servers crash, frequently disconnect the player, and will have its fps crash down to about 5-6fps.

This isn't a game: it's a con. 2K has shipped a broken, near unplayable port and an embarassment. They have the $30 I've spent on this, but if this is the quality that can be expected of a AAA release from this dev, this is the last amount of money they'll ever get from me.

What I paid for: A difficult rage-inducing game

What I recieved: A pretentious narrator named Bennett and an overhyped but fairly-priced, unchallenging hiking sim.

Seriously, the game isn't hard. Getting used to how to handle your character may take a hot minute, but otherwise the game is pretty simple.

Still, it has charm, but the game relies too heavily on thinking the player is salty: The game counts on you being frustrated. If you aren't raging while playing, the commentary is pretty pointless, and the entire experience is more of a waste of time than anything else.

Has made me believe in God again. 7/10
