An interesting combat mechanic, very enjoyable. A decent story but sometimes it took some effort to force myself to play to finish the game, it was worth it in the end though.

Absouletly disappointed after loving LP2 years ago. Not even bothered finish the campaign, the gameplay is slow and stale. Everything that was good about they prequeal I so dearly loved, they just completely ignored. After the 3 hours of play there has only been 3 different types on enemies, and 3 different weapons.
The story so far was very linear, and I saw no point in even attempted side quests as they sounded boring and offered no reward that would be worth while. I finally gave up after coming across a boss that consisted of just boring hold trigger, dodge combat until he died. And took several attempts as when he was near death if you failed to dodge he would stun lock you 3 times and you would be unable to dodge.
Again LP2 offered a great experience with huge rediculous bosses and crazy weapons you could pick up and swap between, The gameplay took some teamwork with the great co-op gameplay it had, and had to figure out what the tactic was to take it down. LP3 doesn't allow for co-op and the combat is nothing new. The ranking, customization and extra challanged and gamemodes that LP2 had to offer was what keep me playing after the story, where LP3 has nothing going for it.
I have no idea what they were thinking to create this, I can only say they've focused a lot more on character building and attempted to make a more engaging and emersive story, which for me it even struggled to achieve that. I was interested to see the end of the story but I just could not be bothered with the gameplay I had to deal with up to this point.
