Somewhere between a really great game and a tech demo that keeps on delivering, and I've come back to for new runs every time the game updates.

The characters are charming, the environments are fun, and there are a bunch of mods that expand that charm without stepping on the frameworks put in place.

I really enjoy this RPG.

The lore is so deep man.

I got about 18.5 hours out of my first run of this game and I've got to say, it's worth nearly every second of it.

The character design is charming, the dialogue options tug on the heart strings, the characters are both relatable and well designed, the music is phenomenal, and the gameplay, while somewhat different from other Rad Codex titles was not too much of an adjustment.

Some parts were a bit grindy, such as getting stats up to prep for key fights, but once you have your team's cohesion down, the skill trees really flourish. The satisfaction of finally getting a grip on fights provides a good incentive to think your strategy over. I would have liked more fights around the surface, rather than having to roll dungeons on cooldown. At the same time, having those dungeons enabled me to try out new combinations so.... maybe a neutral point?

I'm lead to believe by circumstance and choice there can be a few endings so I'll revisit this game in a few months to play with some more of the devious, less kind choices you can make.

Game gets a 97/100 from me. Fantastic title that I would love to see more of!

I highly recommend this game.

A lot of RPGs don't have replay-ability but this game, while a little rocky to get started, was satisfying through and through, especially once you get to the point of team cohesion.

You get to create 4 characters to your liking, spec them out how you want, then go wild in a tower pieced together from various masses of multiple planes.

The story is sad, the music is reasonably fitting, the fights are worthwhile, and once you find your groove, you can take on any enemy.

My only gripe is the janky inventory system, but once you get used to carrying extra satchels and bags it's not all that bad. Pick a place, make it your base to store items, reforge old things you don't need, sell off everything else!

Game is a lot of fun.

I put my hours into this game, because at first it seemed kinda eventful.

There is no replay-ability. Your run leads you to get roped into the same ♥♥♥♥, over and over again.

Bland and uninteresting, and I kind of wish I had my 70+ dollars back. The fact they haven't dropped the price for such an incredible flop astounds me. The base building is lackluster, the ship building is worse, the exploration is bland, and anything outside of an intensely railroaded story goes against the schema of the usual decisions you can make within Bethesda games.

It's a shame, too, because a couple of the companions are actually written very well, there's a lot of little nuance here and there that make 4-6 hours of the game really engaging and exciting - but because of Bethesda's rampant outsourcing, all of the supporting elements feel disjointed and out of place. You aren't just playing one game, you're playing 4-5 games that are interlaced at the same time, and most of them are mediocre at best.

Considering how much money they spent shooting their shot, and given Bethesda is beholden to shareholders.... (Due to being a subsidiary of Zenimax, which is owned by Microsoft.) I doubt there's enough confidence on the table for them to do a re-run and save their IP before its too late. There will be no "No Man's Sky" moment for this game - though I hope that isn't the case because I'd love to get my 70 dollars worth.

P.S. There's no way this game won the innovative game-play award.
