Every Worms sequel is a few steps up and a few steps down. While new additions like vehicles and combined weapons are fun, it removed some of the fun aspects of last game (clan wars); classes, water physics and workshop intergration for hats and soundbanks.
Because of this, it doesn't feel sequel, but rather an alternative. The search for an ultimate Worms game still continues.

When it comes to dev's roadmap, they have a hard time following it. Half of it didn't make it in the game and they won't communicate what they're planning this year. If you don't have the slightest intention of putting something in the game, don't put it on a roadmap.

If you own Clan Wars and you like that game, there is not much reason to buy Worms W.M.D. If you never played a Worms game, you may like this game, but you could literally buy any Worms game because it hasn't changed much over the last 10 years.

The recent ban on modded content is just one of the reasons GTA V made me dislike this greedy game.

GTA Online is a grindfest where only the rich people can enjoy all the content.

Hackers are ruining the game for years and it cannot be stopped in the current network infrastructure.

No dedicated servers if you just want to enjoy a sandbox with custom rules. Right now sandbox-style gameplay is limited to hackers who can spawn vechicles and weapons whenever they want.
