I remember finding this game back when it first came out and played it for a good while but I felt it was limited in a few key areas like story and quest/missions to do. I played it when the only objective was to get to the core. The gameplay was awesome and I found the look of it very nice and apealing to the eye. Recently within the past months I saw it got realesed on steam so I thought I could pick it up again. What I had found was the game I dreamed it could be! It had lots of new things that I oh so desperatly wanted in the game like: Crafting, Guilds, Quests, More Wepons, Pets, and WAY more enemies than there were before! But most importantly it has a story and an interesting one at that! I remember booting it up on steam and the opening cutscene giving me chills! Also this game has one of the most kick ass and atmospheric soundtracks ever and some of the most beautiful environments to boot! Playing this game again is a joy. Dont get me wrong there are a few flaws! Micro Transacions are not AS bad as they could be but I still found them anoying and also there seems to be a large difficulty spike halfway through the story missions but I got past it. Overall the best free to play game on steam other than maybe NeverWinter. Even though the game has a few flaws it never really took too much away from the experience. That is why I urge anyone reading this to get Spiral Nights for free because it is way worth the download!
