This game is one of my favourite games ever and i personally think it even beats the second witcher.
The witcher 1 has one of the best stories i have ever personally experienced, and without spoiling to much you will be shocked by the twists and turns it takes throughout the 30+ hour story. It features theifs, elves, humans, dwarfs, monsters and much more which it ties together nicely with an overarching plot about politics, racism and much more.
As a small tip i would say try to do all the sidemissions, they lend a great bit of depth to the main plot and even the smaller quests will play their role in some way later on.
The combat system can be a bit basic and the pace is a little bit off sometimes but overall this game is amazing and you owe it to yourself to play it!
