+variety in races and leaders
+well polished
+very few bugs
+fast loading times (post Elixir of Speed patch)
+relatively balanced
+highly moddable

-you will buy all DLC but still end up playing Empire the most often
-can feel samey towards the end game, especially mortal empires (WH1+WH2 maps together, but a bit gutted unlike the WH2 Vortex map alone)
-sometimes races get disproportionate attention - Empire received already two DLCs (1 in first game, 1 in second game) and a rework, while races like Wood Elves, Beastmen and Greenskins are left in the dust.

My favourite Total War game so far. Very polished already at start unlike the previous games. Romance mode is a good mix between Warhammer and historic gameplay.
