I tried giving this game a fair chance, but i just cant recommend it in its current state.

This game feels unfinished and was made without looking at what makes older titles great, the UI is bland and lifeless, the missions arent interesting and vehicles dont feel good to use.

Placing of bunkers and mines is done by magically summoned engineers and you dont get trucks with defensive supplies anymore.

If you want to man a heavy machine gun, you cant properly recrew it since you are heavily restricted in army size and therefore if you lose a tank, you cant recrew it, since the infantry you called in just filled up your CP limit.
That is, if you even have infantry left in your reserves, as they can run out now.
Also you have to hope for the tank to not explode, since they brought health bars back, so vehicles will just explode and be permanently destroyed.

This game if far off from being on par with its predecessors, which makes it feel heavily unfinished.

Yes, this game has problems, however Company of Heroes 2 was in a bad state on launch too.
The game will improve and i will be sure that i will get addicted to this game as i was to both predecessors.

They have added many new features and managed to fuse some mechanics from previous games into something new, all in all if you like these kind of games get it

The Evil-enjoying Evil has decided that this game improves many mechanics, which it saw during the conquering of Dungeons 2.
So the Sequel-Underestimating Evil knew it had to write a review.

The Critical-Thinking Evil started its rant about the aspects its Dungeon had outflawed since its last Crusade.

For starters the Diversity-Supporting Evil knew that always splitting the Horde, Demons and Undead into seperate Dungeons would certainly bring some sub-society into its ranks, so it decided there needed to be diversity in every Dungeon it build and therefore it made sure it would be able to recruit lackeys of all factions into the same Dungeon!

The next improvement the Unit-Upgrading Evil made, is the possibility for its Troopers to instantly get the advantages of the upgrades it researched and instantly could make use of them against those Unicorn-cuddling Rainbow-farting forces of good!

Even though the Competition-crushing Evil has not fought another Dungeonlord yet, it can safely say that the conquering of the forces of good is a great pleasure and it relishes every moment of the houses burning and the farmers screaming in agony.
Well as long as its new schizophrenic general and the easily offendable narrator arent fighting about whos job has a future or not.

In the end the Not-knowing-what-to-say-other-than-a-great-continuation Evil just tells everyone that if they enjoyed the last 2 Dungeons games, this is a great way to continue that love.
