An extremely gorgeous reverse city builder with a beautiful soundtrack and message. This topic is seriously underrepresented in games and I love them for making Terra Nil already for that reason.

The game is deep enough to keep you entertained for a couple hours per session, and although there is only 4 available regions so far, the satisfaction and the (unintended) therapy this title provides makes the price point worth it to me.

Thank you Luna dear for this gift, it helped me through the illness I had <3

What a spectacle of a game.

The atmosphere CAPCOM has built here is beyond anything they have achieved before this title. Now I see what they mean when people say that the series made a great comeback with RE7. Huge respect for building tension and making you actually feel scared without the usage or reliance on jumpscares. The sound and visual design is nothing short of top-tier. The puzzles are mostly smart and they require you to learn the layout of the locations. If you have paid attention, the backtracking is minimal but they always spice those up in one way or another anyways ;) .

The story and the writing/world building is actually one of the best points of the game for me. It's such a fresh take on the already established series and funnily enough the supporting cast was a thousand times more interesting to me than the main one. I genuinely cared for the characters and the gameplay perfectly complimented the progression.

I can't wait to start putting hours into the DLC content because as satisfying as the main game was, I can't get enough of this atmosphere.

A Kill Bill inspired, gorgeous and extremely stylish fighting game with some very unique mechanics and roguelite elements.

The combat system is extremely punishing with its hard to play, even harder to master setup. The stages are all beautifully handcrafted, the shortcut and unlock system is amazing for replayability, and the bosses are varied and well designed (however infuriating some of them may be).

If you're a fighting game noob like me, be prepared to swear and sweat a lot before clearing the game for the first time.

An incredibly beautiful piece of art that is more than worth experiencing. What a brilliant idea to sew coop into this already magical formula. This experience can only be felt in this medium.

A weirdly surreal and thoughtful little puzzle game that got me interested in the whole series. The puzzles are more on the easy side and even though they are quite similar in nature all the way through the 2 hour runtime of the game, they shift things up enough each time for it to be challenging.

[Played it on the Steam Deck LCD]

Mini Ninjas is a quirky but simple hack & slash RPG adventure game. I played it mainly for nostalgia reasons as I could not afford it when I was a child so I put countless hours in the demo instead hahah

[Pros]
+Cute artstyle that holds up really well even today
+Runs flawlessly
+Plenty of freedom to explore for the ones who prefer that (I didn't do any of that and I wasn't forced to)
+Several ways to approach combat (and all of them are viable)
+Level up system with zero grind attached
+Fun core gameplay loop
+Varied levels with different challenges and things to do
+Fair price

[Cons]
-The audio is broken, mainly it does not exist. Apparently there is a workaround but I just put my own music instead
-Enemy variety is lacking for the amount of levels there are
-Bossfights are only QTEs
-Non-existent story
-The character unlock system is almost completely useless and serves no real purpose

Recommended for the 5-10 hours of fun content you get at a very fair price.

I never buy games at full price, but this title might have changed my views on this. It's genuinely the most fun coop experience since Deep Rock Galactic (and I haven't even played this with friends yet)!

The sheer amount of content and hours you can sink into this game is just astounding value.
There's so much to say that I need to write it as a list lol

[PROS]
+Gorgeous procedurally generated planets
+Interactive, coop focused objectives
+Super fun and fairly balanced combat sandbox
+Insanely well crafted enemies, each with their own weaknesses and strengths. The fact that their moveset and aggression changes based on many factors (including how many limbs you leave on them) adds so much to the moment-to-moment gameplay
+The stratagem system is rewarding and satisfying to use
+The weight-based gunplay is the most fun I had pulling a trigger in any game period
+The side objectives are varied and interesting
+⬆➡⬇⬇⬇
+Devs are currently P U M P I N G new content into the game, almost every 3rd day there is some minor content update or balance patch
+Community based goals increase stakes and will ensure you will always have a goal when logging in
+Shared loot among the party members
+Two (so far?) completely different enemy factions that change how the game plays entirely
+9 different difficulty settings - and no, it's not the bullet sponge kind but I'll let you figure that out yourself
+Cheeky setting with clever humor
++You can earn premium currency by just exploring and playing the game

[CONS]
-The client is unstable to an extent that it crashes frequently
-Non-scaling difficulty makes playing with less than 4 players suboptimal
-Occasional server and connectivity issues
-Most of the mission modifiers are uninteresting and unfun
-I can't put it down and my responsibilities suffer for it
-It ruins other games for you

TL;DR: intelligent, capable, and experienced game devs and designers sat down and said: fxck it, let's make history.

Disclaimer: All my playtime was on the Epic Games Store

An absolute masterpiece that has garnered a well-deserved cult following.
To properly enjoy the top-tier writing you will need an open mind and some life experience. Fondness towards poetry also elevates your experience.

About the game being free: let's just say that you don't pay with money

Early positive review to counterbalance the idiotic review bombing.

Extremely fun game that has me more excited than pretty much anything in the past decade or so. The perfect combination of the best mechanics and qualities of Battlefield, Overwatch, Apex Legends and Mirror's Edge in a heavy-hitting free to play package.

Short adrenaline fueled objective based rounds that really makes you crave just one more game :p

I'm going to give this a thumbs up solely based on the fact that AT LEAST this game is not a tech demo like most VR titles.

Pros:
+Beautiful visual style
+Extremely atmospheric
+The sound design is amazing
+Realistic manual reloading
+Resident Evil style resource management and puzzles

The cons
-3 hours of content for 20€ is a bit steep
-The game is totally unfinished, right when it would escalate it ends (??)
-The non-stop jumpscares really take away from the fantastic atmosphere. It's a shame they thought relying on cheap adrenaline-chasing scripted events was more worth it than to lean fully into the otherwise deep and satisfying horror environment they have created
-The combat would possibly be the weakest part of the game but...
-...the story and voice acting takes that crown (although I'll admit that it doesn't take away from the experience much)

Final verdict: 6.5/10. Get it on sale as it's a fun couple hours of horror, but don't go in expecting anything groundbreaking or new.
