The most forgiving of the souls games in my opinion making it more accessible. But the old adage still lives on in this game despite this. Get good or die.

With its over the top battle cutscenes, stylishly savage combos, and our favorite devil hunter; this is definitely miles away better than the reboot. The DMC we all deserved, only complaint is that its not like 4 years in the future and DMC 6 is out

Perfect game to escape the monotonous lifestyle of the ratrace and places you in a brighter slightly less monotonous story. But I digress, this is a great game for anyone that just wants to farm OG harvest moonstyle.

Edit. With the update the game has increased its replayability by about 40% great game overall still. Prime example of beauty in simplicity.

A lot of trust has been lost from this developer. Which is a bit sad since this is such a great game, the tidal wave of dlc and its pricing were a bit of a sting, but with the addition of microtransactions after stating they would never do that is kind of like a cheating girlfriend. At one point you trust them then next thing you know you're crying into a plate of hot pockets
