The first release in our beloved series, aged well enough on it's own, and with Valve doing the 25th Year Anniversary updates it aged beautifully. Only wish they had added achievements to the game.

If you've played HL2 and EPs 1 & 2, this game plays much like those; with running, gunning, and puzzle solving. However the feel of this game is more along the lines of Doom, Quake, and Unreal Tournament.

You'll likely die. A lot.

Save early, and save often.

Playing this game will make everything that follows in the events across the series, much, much more mysterious.
