I've played Destiny since the first game came out in 2014. It has had its ups and downs and I've been frustrated at times. That being said it's been one of my favorite games I've played in the past 5 years and has created some of my favorite gaming memories. I believe with the split from Activision it can only continue to improve from here. Excellent gun play, one of the best, and there is plenty to do and achieve. It does feel grindy and repetitive at times, but that comes with being an "MMO" type game. The story and PVP is ok. Nothing to write home about. If either of those things is all you care about I probably wouldn't recommend it. While it can be played solo some content must be done in a group and that's where the game excels the most is challenging group content and the raids. If you can jump in with some friends, or at least make some friends or join a clan, and enjoy a bit of a grind and collecting guns /armor you'll have a blast.
