This game is weirdly fun. I've had a pretty ducking good time with it. It isn't quite as simple of a game as one would think. There are secrets to be found!

VERY good. I have been playing the original since 1995. This new and updated version adds a lot but doesn't subtract from the original gameplay. Multiplayer is a bit buggy, but is still fun AF. Nightdive churns out another banger! (No surprise there!)

Buy. This. Game. It's like a throwback to the 90's. A VERY GOOD throwback to the 90's... Of course, I was skeptical until I saw all the positive reviews rolling in. It is amazing how they could modernize the Build engine to use for a commercial game in 2018. Again, buy this - you won't be disappointed!

The ONLY downside is that I was able to finish it (without searching for many secrets, which there are hundreds) in less than an hour. That said, I will be going back to find all of the secrets, so that should add several more hours of fun!

The only question I have is what happens when the full game comes out? Are those of us that purchased this preview getting the full game when it releases, or is it a separate purchase?

Growing up, Rise of the Triad was my absolute favorite game. I played it for HOURS and HOURS. In those days, I had an Ensoniq Soundscape sound card that rendered the MIDI songs beautifully. Andrew has done the impossible - he's made the original Lee Jackson tracks BETTER! I'm absolutely in love with this soundtrack and you will be too. Buy it immediately! It comes in FLAC, MP3, and even WAV! It's worth absolutely EVERY penny. Also, if you haven't already checked it out, Andrew has redone a lot of the DOOM soundtrack. It's a masterpiece as well, and it's FREE. Google it. You won't be disappointed.
