In light of the recent news (Sony walking back the PSN connection requirement) I'm here to leave a positive review for the folks at Arrowhead.

This game is fun and I recommend it a lot 👍

This game is still great, even nine years later. I read somewhere that player count rose 51% since Suicide Squad released and I'm glad to contribute to that. It's such a shame that the leading talent at Rocksteady had to leave and that the remainder had to suck up to WB and the slop they wanted for the Arkhamverse.

Great mechanics, GREAT story, great visuals and sound, and the ending made me cry.

It's fun and SUPER CHEAP RN

Huge world, very fun! I can't give it a perfect score because of the bugs on launch day--one of which completely prevented me from using my controller until I finally found a workaround that worked (disabled HID-controller from the device manager). There's also some stuttering, but nothing that breaks the experience. If you enjoy beautiful open world games, a diversity of approaches to combat, and an experience that doesn't coddle you, this game is right for you.

I've only played through the first three dungeons of this and I can safely say I'm going to be addicted to it.
The first thing I've come to love about it is how masterfully designed the cards are, both in art and mechanics. It really feels like you're sitting down to play a traditional card game that could exist in our tangible reality--with some tweaks of course.
The second thing I love is the combat. It follows the same mechanics as the Free-Flow Combat system we've come to love from the Batman: Arkham series. However, you can only do some of the aspects of combat depending on what equipment you start with or pick up on your journey. For example: without a shield, you won't be able to stun or counter the enemies you face.
Pick up this game right now and enjoy it as it gets better, or wait for the fully-polished release. Either way, you're in for a good time!
