Sony is making a movie from Ghosts of Tsushima. Too bad it won't be played in the 180 countries delisted from Sony's wonderful umbrella of approved countries.

Sony has a great business model though...
Sell the game in every country for 3 months
Revoke access to millions of users (Because ♥♥♥♥ them amirite?)
Release terrible account link
Backpedal on account linking to gain some respect from the community
Revoke access to more users
... Profit?

I smell a lawsuit incoming.

The amount of hours I've got in the game is about what you can expect if you're good at racing games.

Do yourself a favor: if you want this game to last you a while? Buy any random car and enjoy building it. Avoid the Porche 911 RSR. It's incredibly fast, super good at cornering, unlocks early on, it's cheap, and is the best car I've seen in the game period.

I say avoid it, because after you get it, you've trivialized the entire game. This game doesn't have much for an endgame, other than racing PVP races. You can max your heat out and run heat 5 races for ultimate+ parts once you're level 50, and level up your crew, but that's about it. I never even touched the campaign because it's not necessarily needed. You can complete every race, become the fastest racer, max out your cars, your money, your rep, your crew, all without touching the story past the intro mission.

I'm gonna go through and complete the campaign, but realistically this game doesn't have much for replay value. For $7 on sale, fun racing game. For $70? Avoid it like the plague. The cops are impossible to outrun without a really fast car, and you'll essentially be forced to lose money, and progress because of the cops rubberbanding system.

Once you get a car that out runs cops at heat 4, you've trivialized the game entirely. It's kind of upsetting this game retailed for $70, but I'm glad I got it for $7.

Let's piss off the fanboys.

Every negative review gets dumpstered for not liking the subscription model for online play, and allowing access to all the features of the game. One review had people pouring in calling the OP poor for not being able to afford "$10 a year" or "less than $1 a month."

Let's dive into that, shall we?

$10 a year gets you access to hosting your own local server. LOCAL server. Meaning not in the list of servers that can be joined by anyone, but can at least be joined by your friends. That's pretty nice for $10.

Car customization is free is another thing I've seen thrown around, except it's not. In fact it's not even included in the $10 a year subscription. If you'd like to CREATE (pay attention to which words I'm using, Ubisoft fanboys, it'll get complicated soon.) skins for cars, you can for free. You cannot upload them for anyone to see, you can export them and upload them to fan sites more than likely, though I haven't personally found any.

Now what do you get access to for $30 a year? (THREE TIMES THE $10 A MONTH TAG THROWN AROUND BY FANBOYS?)

Access to hosting whatever kind of server you want. Access to USING (equipping your car with, wearing, however you'd like to put it) car skins that YOU create, or that OTHER PEOPLE have created. You get access to playing with the best players in the game. You get access to the advanced level designer. You get access to pretty much everything community content related. That $10 a year price tag gets you limited content. The fact that I can pay a yearly subscription to change my car's color is already frustrating, but locking that basic feature behind a paywall THREE TIMES the rate that the base subscription costs? I'll move on to Forza Horizon before I touch this game. I'll go pirate Track Mania Nations and host a Hamachi based dedicated server. I'll go ahead and do ANY of my MANY options outside of paying a greedy horrid company like Ubisoft every year TO ALLOW ME TO CHANGE MY CAR'S COLOR.

Oh but at least there's free car skins, yea? One. You get one. You better enjoy that one. Because you can't even change to a skin based on the country you live in. Ubisoft ruined a good game. The fanboys in the comments are gonna try to dumpster me for not being able to afford a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ subscription, but I'm here to let you know: I don't pay for ANY subscriptions for ANY game for ANY reason. Any game requiring a subscription has better alternatives waiting outside of it's grasp. Go find them. Until then, enjoy your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ subscription.

Edit; 10/13/2023

Now the free to play version is being restricted EVEN FURTHER as the devs have claimed that they were being "Too Generous". This means now the 25 track campaign will be reduced to 10 tracks for free users. This "Free" title is a DEMO. Anyone arguing otherwise has a lot more evidence to argue against now. Ubisoft only cares about your dollar, not creating a community. If they did, they'd have made this game a permanent pay for option to buy the game outright.

Also changed the terminology used because somebody in the comments complained that I used "month" instead of "year."

Want access to having a skin on your car other than default? $30 a year please. Want to play custom maps? $30 a year please. Want to make your own maps? $30 a year please.

Y'all missing a second "i" in "Competitive"

You spelled it "Competitve"...

Come on boys, you created a pretty horrible, yet fun game, monetized the ♥♥♥♥ out of it, but can't spell "Competitive"?

Please. Just hired somebody to spell check for you. I'll do it if you'd like, and I wouldn't even charge much.

Look at the amount of hours I have. I hate Souls-like games, this one feels great. If there's a couple criticisms to make, it'd be that enemy variety ends up slowing down as you play further on, but they are mostly fun to fight regardless.

My biggest criticism? LET ME TURN OFF PLAYER MESSAGES. For ♥♥♥♥♥ sake. The player messages are the worst ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing in this game. You wanna sit at a site of grace? Too ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad, a 12 year old wanted to be funny so he blocked it with an message that you can't choose otherwise on. Oh, and that message? Super, super useful information; "Grace."

Just add that single option, just the ability to have online turned on, and no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ messages showing up. That's all I ask. Also, PC performance can be abysmal at times, dropping down to 14 FPS from 60 randomly causing massive stutters, but meh, that'll hopefully be fixed as time goes on, so can't really complain.

Edit: 350 hours now. This game is fantastic after bug fixed came into play. The game is challenging, it's fun, it's worth the money, and the time it takes to explore. My first playthrough took 117 hours to get through killing all bosses.

Also; ♥♥♥♥ Lies of P. I don't own the game on Steam so I can't ♥♥♥♥ talk it in reviews, but if you're looking for a AAA title to buy? Make it this one and not Lies of Garbage.

This game is awesome, hopefully official mod support comes up, cause currently the only alternative is paying AzzaMods (A random Github dev) $20 a month for his badly coded ♥♥♥♥.

Full year of waiting for Epic to not have the only rights to this trash pile. Finally buy the game (Discounted to $15 by this point, because again, ♥♥♥♥ Epic Games.) Play through the game once;

Beat the game, level my character a bit, find extra legendaries, etc.
Now I'm extremely bored. The DLC isn't worth my time to try out, because I know it's gonna be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fanfare thrown in to make the Borderlands Fanboys happy.

Here's a list of my opinions;

Story; Meh
Gameplay; Have you played Borderlands? Congrats. You've played Borderlands 1, 2, Pre-Sequel, and 3.
Content; "LMAOOOO YOU GUYS LIKE RICK AND MORTY AND MEMES RIGHT CAUSE WE KNOW WHAT THOSE ARE HAHAHAHAHAHA LOOK RICK AND MORTY MINIBOSS LMAOOOO SO FUNNY LOOK HE HAS A PORTAL AND ♥♥♥♥ TALKS LMAOOO SO FUNNY"
Multiplayer; Well... They finally learned how to add optional loot restrictions per player... So... I guess that's kinda cool. Only took them literally all their games to implement a feature 90% of players wanted in BL1.

Have you used the Epic Games store? Or played Fortnite? Cause that's how BL3 feels. Like a VERY VERY VERY VERY carbon copy of what already exists, if features were stripped then thrown in as "OH MY GOD SO INCREDIBLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ INNOVATIVE."

I'd avoid this game unless you get the big ass handsome jack collection deal that existed for like $15 for all DLC + base game. If you can manage to get this game, and all it's DLC for cheap, it might be worth it.

Also; "Hey let's add more storyline to Borderlands. It's not as though our most successful DLC ever was a recreation of a D&D game. The fans want more storyline after we blew the story of Borderlands apart."

Early Access Review
29 minutes. That's how long I played after looking through graphics settings and "Fixing" them as much as I could and finding one which is just entirely in a language other than English. That's how long it took me to get to (What I assume was) the final boss of a "single" mode... This boss has 2 phases, phase one, a big ol' ball thingy. You smash it, it turns into a tiny-giant (its odd) robot which you have to fight.

10% of his HP was gone before I experienced the first and only crash I'll ever experience of this game. I uninstalled it immediately after. My first experience with this game was 29 minutes wasted because of a crash that just randomly happened. No error code, no freeze, no lag, not an old PC. This PC was built last year with the newest parts I could get my hands on. Maybe when I start to see that crashes are being fixed I'll try it again. Until then it completely ruined my experience.
