rifts suck :')

Was better at the start for me tbh, ran way better. Now it runs like darktide where some maps are like under 60fps most of the time when fighting lol. Not the best PC but yeah, all the smoke and ♥♥♥♥ is cool and all but its clearly taking a toll. I'm on a 5600x and 3080, even on these automaton planets scaling doesnt help lol. Where its native or quality/super quality its bad most of the time.

Hopefully it improves but I doubt it.

feels fresh, well made. Giving me apex release vibes, hope they keep the hype and dont go quiet for a year like apex devs did.

Idk why light has so many more weapons available though, finding it hard to like a lot of the medium/heavy weapons. Then you have light with the ability do everything and annoying ass stealth. You gotta keep the classes similar when it comes to number of weapon choices otherwise why even bother.

Also right now some things just feel required, giving me pharamercy vibes with the healing gun and heavy melee together or light. Healing gun kinda busted as well as melee in general, if you going to make melee so strong you need to make close/med weapons stronger because right now shooting a heavy is pointless, specially with any AR. Pistol does more damage than AR in mid to close, u basically give up if theres a heavy next to you and you arent another heavy with a shotgun/melee. Also there is some crazy inconsistency with shotguns.

Also some issues with games disconnecting mid tourney and forcing you to get a matchmaking suspension.

PSA: I am bad at shooters and fully accept some of this is skill issue but I also think some of it is true and I will forever believe that stealth does not belong in competitive FPS games.

ngl I didnt get the whole DLC on my character in a friends save, only got the pajamas and dice... not the hat or the cape or any of that. If that changes on another character ill change to positive but right now I can't because I really wanted the cape

Just a very enjoyable game with very little issues other than gun balance and some map design.

Honestly just a great time, runs amazing. Haven't tried rtx yet but I'd rather not x)

Only death of this game will be lack of additional maps, hope they stay active.

Don't listen to people complaining about controls, they just havent played side-scrollers before lol. If you ever played SOLDAT you'll probably enjoy this to some degree, it is a bit rough at the moment but it is quite fun. As usual the people who spend their whole days writing trash reviews jump the gun and forget its a f2p game and has a solid base to improve on. Complain about controls without giving any reason why they are bad (saying they are clunky doesn't provide any useful feedback btw)

It's fun and it looks cool, try it for yourself instead of listening to the review bandits who don't want to enjoy anything. Most of these people played one game of the wave survival mode and died round 2 and posted a review :)

People also forget its early access, idk why they are expecting 20 maps. The wave mode is challenging and the BR takes like an hour or less of playtime to unlock so stop whining about having to play the game to unlock it lol.

I will say though, BR doesnt appear to work. It just finds you squad mates then searches forever so either games bugged or games dead in asia already lol.

Honestly I would have preferred it just came out as a co-op vs AI game, feel like the horde mode could have been way cooler... the pvp kinda meh

Well aside from the usual complaints about bad UI and being a mobile port with slightly sluggish controls (definitely not the worst I've used) I quite enjoy the game, has enough systems and stuff to keep you involved... Can't say I agree with the monetisation regarding characters but the battlepass seems okay (though I can't see myself purchasing it) Clearly some inspiration from path of exile and being able to earn currency to buy inventory slots/pact spirits in game is nice. Definitely not a game to main but its a good time filler in this sad drought of quality games. It's free, give it a try.
