This series has been close to my heart since the release of the very first game when I was a child. I've played at least a little of every title along the way, but I'd begun to wonder if any development team could ever come close to the magic of the original. Something about this one finally achieved what was missing for me, and is the game I've been hoping to play for years. I can only hope that future titles can carry on what this team of people brought to the series and find ways to improve on what they built here. I daresay I would love to see this team do a proper full-fledged remake of the original title to really do it the justice that the Anniversary remake failed to achieve, but I know that will never happen. This game makes me excited to see the untold stories of the indomitable Lara Croft.
