I was completely bored with it by the end of my second game (over 750 hours in civ 5) and probably wont be going back for quite a while. They stripped TOO much out of the game in my opinion (natural wonders, religion, etc.) and it just makes for a VERY boring ride. I love this franchise and probably always will, honestly i feel like 2k is the WRONG publisher for these games because of the way they handle dlc like money grubbing crack dealers. I dont see it as acceptable to remove features from a franchise game just to sell it back to people later, and we all know thats what they are going to be doing.. it should always be moving forward and innovating and attempting to do what it did last time better.. as such this game is a complete and utter failure

Its free to play. If you enjoyed Diablo 2 and thought Diablo 3 was a shadow of its former self your in luck. The folks who brought you D2 jumped ship before D3 came out, formed their own company and gave birth to this gem. 100hrs and counting for free......i like that.

Players must defend military bases from waves of attacking aliens by positioning a range of tower-based weaponry. This game is dirt cheap (I think bbq got it on sale for 3 bucks). I have over 300 hours of play time on it so thats pennies per hour. Defense Grid is a huge time sink while you are waiting for the TF2 servers to fill up. You can play this game many times with the different modes that you can set up for each map. I hessitate to say it is a puzzle game because that could give you the wrong impression. There are many DLC's that can be purchesed on steam. There is a ranking system on steam so you can compare yourself to your friends and other top players in the world. PC Gamer "Defense Grid is such a charming and challenging experience that shouldn't be missed by tower defense fans. Even if you're not a fan, it may turn you into one." IGN stated, "It's an addictive time suck that will have you wishing for more once you've wiped up the last alien."
This Game is well worth the price even if it were tripled.
