Gone Fishin'

Destiny is a shadow of its former glory. Developer passion and innovation at Bungie is stifled by executives worried about "over-delivering" (actual quote, look it up) - they'd rather ship a minimum viable product increasingly stuffed full of aggressive monetisation.

Caring about this franchise, wanting it to succeed and live up to the potential we saw in trailer 10 years ago, has been exhausting. I can safely say that after the recent turmoil at Bungie I no longer have any faith in their ability to deliver a satisfying - or even just competent - end to the saga.

Don't buy Destiny; being invested in this game will only lead to disappointment.
