The game currently focuses around running the plant to generate points to upgrade it and increase its capacity. There are also a handful of scenarios that add scripted events and objectives into the mix. The whole thing led me down a rabbit hole into learning about reactors IRL.

Game has a few small bugs but nothing game braking and I don't recall a single crash so far so quite high quality given its early access status. Developer is very active in both updating the game and listening to comments and suggestions on the games Discord.

Despite early access its already worth buying as it has >100 hours of content on a single play-though. They keep adding loads of things as time goes on.
