It was nice to play some more Golden Idol, but the level design was not as good as the original game.

I have played a lot of city builder games since Simcity 2000, so I'm pretty familiar with the genre. This game is probably not the best city builder game you can find around but let me say, this is a brilliantly creative game.
The designer mostly removed the dynamic elements of an ordinary city builder, the game is still real time, but it lets you destroy and rebuild your whole city in a minute even in the late game. In this sense, the game is like a puzzle where you try to find the missing pieces by trying the pieces you assume will fit. But the brilliant side, you still feel the satisfaction of developing a city from the scratch.

Let me warn you, the game might seem not to your taste on the first try, as it did to me. I would advise you to be open-minded and make an effort because the game is fun.

I really enjoyed this game, the main scenario was also cool. The game is compared with Obra Dinn by many for obvious reasons. Although I thought Obra Dinn was more immersive, that's my personal choice, and Golden Idol was also well designed with a humorous touch as a plus.

I really enjoyed this game, it has definitively more charm than your usual tower defense game. Looking forward for more missions.

Quite addictive and challenging management game. If you like games where you gather stuff, make items, build and research tech don't miss out. Obviously the UI is bad, but the core is fun. Sad that developer had to cancel his plans because of health issues.

This game reminded me why I was loving Roller Coaster Tycoon back in the day. Campaign seems challenging enough so far. Also, surprisingly decorating the park is really fun.
Must say that UI needs some redesign though.

Brilliant, kudos to Lucas Pope. Fun, thrilling, absorbing, challenging and fascinating. All done simply by using creativity and letting players use their creativity. That's what I am personally expecting from any game.

Gelecek vaat eden eğlenceli bir oyun olmuş. Evet, beta aşamasında, teknik sıkıntılar, denge sorunu vs var. Ama gerçekten keyifle oynanıyor, başka da bir şeye çok gerek yok. Eskiden, bir 15 yıl önce, multi shooter oynarken aldığım zevki verdi. Her killde ayrı tatmin oluyor insan.
İnşallah popülerleşir, şimdilik Avrupa serverları akşam doluyor sadece. Öte yandan her önüne gelen girmediği için de community'nin seviyesi bayağı iyi. Kaçırmayın, fiyatı da çok makul.

Frankly, the game was more fun without recent DLCs. And increasing the price when the game got old is unacceptable.

The most challenging mission I played so far, at high-high difficulty it took me few replays to finish it.
I don't think buildings are the reason you should buy dlcs yet this supercomputer building is actually quite good. Research without manpower is cool since all other research buildings require college educated workers and both upgrade of the building are useful.
