One of the appeals of this game is being able to use a controller for an ARPG on PC.
In the current state of the game:
-You cannot save any video settings through the controller ; there is no button or UI element to select to save video settings
-Exiting the game to desktop/title is not possible with controller, the UI is "greyed" out; current workaround is to exit to character screen then exit to desktop/title from there
-Game no longer seems to be in development
-Many F2P elements have been edited back to what would be more like a traditional game release; core F2P elements still have systems within the game and pull down the overall production quality of the game
-if you are familiar with F2P systems you will constantly come across elements where you with development time was spent elsewhere

After the release of Torchlight 2, it seems like Perfect World had their fingers MUCH deeper within development and the similarities to mobile titles reside deep within the core of the game, and sadly would seem to be too ingrained to be changed. Runic Games is no longer the listed developer on the title. Its a terrible taste of mobile f2p traps that lingers around a retail price tag of 40$.

The greatest value this game holds is how not to treat retail game development. This compared to what fans wanted... is a painful reminder that some development studios have the bottom line above all else. A great game will always have a supportive fanbase for difficult moments of continued development and most valuable of all is positive word of mouth for continued post release.
