A tremendous accomplishment for a rougelite. Blisteringly fast paced, challenge brawler combat. With weapons that radically change how you play, and powerup diversity to carry your experience for up to a hundred runs. Wound up tightly into a consistent run challenge that will take you 40 minutes top to complete. Making this the perfect pick up and play experience. Rewards come quick and easily, with a fun cast of characters that seem to have no end of dialogue to have with our hero. Hades seems to do the impossible by bringing a long-form, engaging story to the run-based rougelite genre.

A word of warning: while the story is fun and more engaging than I anticipated, there is no satifying ending as of yet in early access. The developers make it very clear that one is coming by release; however.
