Absolutely wonderful game, probably one of the, if not the best gameplay mechanics in a Open World Survival Craft game you'll find. A vast world with tons of things to do and explore, varied areas, and a slow ramp-up in difficulty that makes sense perfect progression-wise. I spent probably 10-20 hours just in the demo (which, lets be real, is beyond amazing, the fact that they didn't lockdown the demo more and let one roam a vast island with minor limitations made it the best demo of a game I've ever played), and as soon as it was released early access I knew I had to buy it, and have been playing as development has continued, up until right now when 1.0 was released (and will still keep an eye on possible further updates or other games from the studio). Needless to say, I absolutely loved it, only "negative" I can even think of is that walking down steep stairs or hills could've been a little smoother (one "bounces" a little bit), but then again, that's probably a compromise to make the rest of the games physics feel amazingly smooth when walking or running around.

Amazing game, amazing series, about the same length as the previous two games (around 4 hours start to finish), definitely recommend getting the entire franchise pack, they just keep getting better and better. And this one was just brilliant, amazing story with smooth and interesting gameplay, puzzles being fairly consistent in difficulty (some a bit easy of course, but as to be expected at times). Get all four games, you won't be disappointed.

I really wanted to give this game a positive review, I did, even though there's obvious flaws (non-consistent puzzle difficulty, camera being weird and sometimes when clicking on thing one gets moved to somewhere else, etc), I did enjoy it, finished the first game, so didn't have too many expectations story-wise, but was kind of happily surprised by the tie-in's to the first game, albeit far from perfect of course, it was enjoyable, and this game was as well, even though frustrating at times, but it's a puzzle games, they tend to be unless they're way too simple. But once I got to a certain chapter about 2.5 hours into the game, the real frustration set in, and it wasn't because of over-complicated puzzles or anything like that, it was because of the "puzzle freeze", sometimes puzzles just stop working without giving any indication of it other than either one or more pieces of the puzzle that's supposed to be able to be moved can't be anymore, and the only way to get the puzzles to start working again (once one has figured out the puzzle actually has bugged out, which the first time it happened took me 10 minutes, because I thought that the reason one of the originally movable pieces couldn't be moved anymore because it was in the right position and had locked itself into place) is to exit out into the main menu, and when you do, the puzzle is of course reset again having to start over. At first it wasn't too bad, happened perhaps once every 20 minutes or so, but now it happens in basically every single puzzle, multiple times per puzzle even, having to exit out into the main menu and start again. I really want to finish the game, I want to continue the story, flaws and all I did enjoy it, but the puzzle bugs have gotten so frustrating that I don't even know if I'll start it up again. I was so hyped to play it after finishing the first one, and now I can barely even push myself to start it up anymore even though I'm probably just about half-way through it. I really hope they'll figure out a fix so I can swap my review to a positive one, but right now it'd be impossible for me to recommend it in this state.

I'm not going to lie, I really enjoy this game, the atmosphere and gameplay is amazing, and I played it for a while, the only reason I don't recommend it is the fact that the recent update now requires a Vulkan driver compatible GPU, which mine (and many others who have already paid for the game) isn't, and therefor I can't run the game anymore. Not sure why they didn't think about the people who bought the game running older hardware when doing the update, must be quite a few of us out there. So if you have a Geforce 500-series or older GPU, don't bother, the game isn't going to work.

TLDR: Great game, but if you have a Geforce 500-series or older GPU the game isn't even going to start.

PS. Will change this review if an update ever comes out to fix the issue.

Not much to say, this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. Haven't played it?, You're missing out on a world of joy (and hurt, because there's not one without the other). The game hates you, and you'll love it for that.

♥♥♥♥♥♥ up keyboard layout, but a hilarious game. A must play for the Deadpool fans, and if your not one, this game might change that.
