Yes, the game with all dlc is expensive, and yes, it released without enough play testing.

But go look through the playtime on those negative reviews.

Of course there are gameplay improvements which are on-going, and who wouldn't prefer cheaper DLC, but there is no denying that WH:TW3 is simply a fun game. If you care more about gameplay then studios and controversies, this is one of the best strategy games out there.

The combat isn't great and there are a bunch of bugs, but the settings, voice acting, story and animations more than make up for that.

If Cyberpunk was made in the 80's and the game play was just X-Com that's this game. I mean that in the best possible way.

Early Access Review
A decent city builder with an interesting twist. The building mechanics are well executed but nothing out of the ordinary, but the addition of the living creature you are on the back of keeps things interesting. Graphics and sounds are good, and everything runs smoothly, even when the village grows in to a city.

It's not overly complex and there isn't a lot of content in the current state, so if you are looking for something to sink 100 hours in, there are better options. If you are willing to wait, or after a short but enjoyable experience, it's well worth the price.

It isn't the same as the first game, but that isn't a bad thing.

DD2 has the same excellent atmosphere and story telling of the first game, with a deeper gameplay loop. Runs are short, and your entire game doesn't collapse if a few key characters unexpectedly die like in the first game.

DD1 was an excellent game and holds up well today. If you want more of the same, go install mods and play it again. If you want something with a similar feel and are looking for something new, this is a fantastic buy.

It isn't anything new; X-Com gameplay, FTL aesthetics, Scaven for enemies. The thing is, it does all of this very very well. If you like the look of it and enjoy X-Com, just buy it. It's well worth the low price tag, even if it isn't super original or long.

The gameplay is nothing special - but this game is all about the wild visuals and unique style. If you enjoy the ride without wanting a gameplay challenge, and have a thing for David Bowie, this is for you.

It's fun, just hugely overpriced for the amount of content you have. Wait for a half price sale or another year or two of development.

The game has a lot of character; the setting, enemies, and characters all stand out. I've got no idea what the heck is going on with the League of Legends lore, but I assume if you're in to that, then this is even better. The story is simple enough, but is brought to life by the setting and characters, and it is over before it gets old.
Combat is fun and challenging without getting too repetitive (although there are moments where it gets close). Character development is complex at first, but gives a huge amount of depth once you get the hang of it.
