It's fun at times, but most of the time everything just feels tedious and un-fun. I'd recommend it if you can put up with that, but I found myself saying "I'm not having fun" out loud a little too often.

Early Access Review
I've taught Parkour for ~6+ years, and practiced it for much longer.

This is hands down the best representation of Parkour in a game I've ever played. The terminology is correct, and the movements are satisfying to pull off.
The controls take a bit of time to get the hang of, but I feel that it just adds to the conveying the complexity of Parkour (plus, simplifying things just gets us the classic "press X to freerun" button, which is boring).

I'm so excited to see where this game goes. I've been in a depressive funk for a few years since having to move states and stop coaching Parkour, and since becoming a father I can safely say that the dad-bod really creeps up on you, but I think this game just might light the fire under my butt to get moving again and finally return to my happy, truest self.

A well-made and fantastically fun homage to Soulsborne games, with an inspiring point to the story. Beat after ~21 hours and enjoyed every (sometimes frustrating, like any good souls-like) minute of it.

Definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic game. If games like Myst or Riven leave you with an insatiable itch that needs scratching, Quern will get that spot for you.

For a little while, at least. I'm incredibly excited for whatever sequels come out of this memorable game.

Gmod was the reason I bought the Orange Box, and those games were my first foray into the wonderful world of PC Gaming.
The game's come a long way, but even back then the limit was your imagination (and how ♥♥♥♥ the Source engine would be sometimes)
It's still being updated, and I hope it's inspiring many more generations of gamers.
