It has terrible UI design. Every time, I return to main screen I have to wait for it to connect to internet to check for something. I really hated it. I couldn't even play a single match against AI because the terrible UI is constantly trying to force me play online.

I tried to join a game for 10 mins. It failed to connect or establish a game for 5 times in a row. If your matchmaking doesn't work, don't force matchmaking. I miss good old server days.

It feels like Settlers II as if S2 was created in 2021

I don't normally write reviews for video games. But this one deserved this. If you are reading this and haven't played this game, your life is missing an essential piece.
