Fun experience in its current state.

- matchmaking is flat out broken, can't play solo/with friends/public
- beta issue with the game not detecting native resolution is still here, you have to dig into cfg files to fix it
- bland yet clunky UI
- poor performance even on Ryzen 5800X + RTX 3080, lowering settings doesn't help much but setting the DX12 in launch options (-dx12) boosts performance at the cost of stuttering the first time the map is being played due to shader cache building

Since release the mm has been fixed but is down yet again, numerous Nebula account errors, spent more time in loading/searching for a game than actually playing.

I value my time and money, get this on huge discount maybe around Christmas once stuff is fixed, if at all.

Liked the part where Tank Dempsey went hunting for the Red October and ended up somewhere in Los Santos.

On a serious note, loved the first 2 games, this one is a great conclusion. Nice change of scenery, liked the crafting system and general gameplay. However, the developers really like their dialogue segments and unskippable cutscenes which is a problem in NG+. DLCs are a good addition and wrap things up nicely.

I'll miss this game, one of the most chill and fun experiences I've had, going for 100% is a breeze too.

Note to achievement hunters: Seems like Conjuration Spellcrafts that you need to collect don't actually include the ones that you can find in Vivariums. I got the "Collector's Edition" when I was at 142/150. Was initially worried I missed some butterflies but sure enough the missing ones turned out to be the in the Room of Requirements

As a survival horror fan who did not play the original I can safely say this is one of the best games in its genre. Great setting, visual presentation, gameplay and intriguing story which leaves you wanting more. Looking forward to Motive's DS2 remake in the future.
