As of writing this review I would say the game is okay, but I fully expect it to be very good once they put out some patches (like what happened with the first one). A lot of reviews will justifiably complain about the short "campaign". Yes, the listed campaign is only ~6.5 hours long, and is really just a tutorial. However, after beating that campaign I have spent another ~30 hours on the chaos theory mode which has 5 stand alone missions. I have only finished 2, and think i am about to wrap up a third, so that has extended the life of the game. That is before getting to challenges and sandbox (which isnt really my thing).

There are some bugs and questionable design choices which will probably be fixed with patches, so probably best to wait a bit and get the game once it goes on sale.

Great base builder! Cant wait for the official release.

This game really is the superior version of Civ.
