I like this game because it can either a relaxing walk in the countryside as you courier packages to a nearby outpost with a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack, or a horror game where you are fighting for your life against dark creatures you can barely see or dispatch. This game is beautiful and I haven't regretted any of the 100+ hours I put into this creative narrative.

I have been playing this game for ten years (since Oldrim launched), and I will be playing this game another ten years more.

It's cute, addictive, and takes great qualities from farming and building games. Building really is the emphasis of this game, seconded by combat and building meaningful relationships with your neighbours. Farming and livestock is very basic, kind of leave it and forget it. You don't even need to water your plants, and caring for them by applying fertiliser is even optional. This at first bothered me, but with so many different focuses and priorities, as well as the stress of trying to collect and craft enough materials for a builder job, I am grateful that they left livestock and farming basic and low maintenance. I like the graphics for an indie game, it's very good!

This game is addictively fun, greatly resembling classic Harvest Moon games, but with improvements. You can really tell this game was made with love. The clock passes slowly enough that you can get a lot done in the span of a day. Your fellow townies are interesting with well developed characters. I have sunk 100 hrs into this game in the last few years, and I can easily easily spend hundreds more.
