This game was stuck in a perpetual state of patching - 100% and holding ~5GB ram hostage. Something is wrong with the latest update.

battle pass in early access that is nowhere near ready. funny ♥♥♥♥. as someone who hit diamond in every season in BR (including pre-season) and was a decent grade in BLC, avoid this.

this is a devolution of the genre. there's already a great high-rated post on why that is so I won't repeat it, but I can't stress enough how much skill expression was removed from the game.

if you are a battlerite fan, you do at least get to enjoy some hero ports, but theyre shadows of the original. and good luck getting it because you have to earn (BUY) heroes.

Problems I had:

Windows 10
HTC Vive

The 3D controls are all inverted (??) you grab something, move your hand forward, instead it moves backward. Same for left and right. Twisting was the only thing correctly moving. Could not fix.

Vehicle controls are very sluggish

Environment is very low res

Traffic behaves oddly, moving up and down at intersections for no apparent reason

The background rain noise has a blank space of no noise for a few seconds every time it loops...

No controller support in menus...

I could keep going, very lazy

Overall a low quality copy of the (free) game Aircar, which also has a better environment and more interactivity

A little light on content, but what's there is an absolute banger in the making. It's still thoroughly enjoyable as it is.

As everyone knows, this uses p2p hosting for multiplayer lobbies.

I was just banned from matchmaking temporarily because I had a host leave a game and we all failed to reconnect. It truly is a trip back to 2007.

Awesome game. Great gun control. Feels inspired by CS:GO. The artstyle creates some of the best VR visuals out there.
