the soundtrack alone makes me feel like a kid again

Definitely my favorite online boardgame, and one of the most fun and challenging tactical games I've ever played. The biggest improvement over the physical copy is that pets can't try to eat the pieces while you're playing. Scratch that, everything's a huge improvement: the game plays faster, shuffling decks isn't as fiddly, ally and enemy cards are very easy to flip through, and sources of error in calculation and enemy movement are greatly reduced. Also, soothing Scottish accents.
