The main story is immersive and honestly a joy to unfold, but the game falls a bit flat on its "grindy" nature and very linear levels. You won't be left wanting for more action though, as you're constantly battling swathes of enemies with your guns and abilities. Much more enjoyable (and easier to tackle) if you've got someone to play with, but it's entirely possible to complete on your own as well.

Buy it on sale if you're into sci-fi storylines and looter-shooters with character customization.

You won't find a better game for a couch party with friends. Absolutely hilarious.

Closer to being the competitive e-sport game 1.6 was, but still a way to go. However, it's still as addicting as ever.
