The first hour of this game was incredibly frustrating. Despite the dialogue trying to explain to me what I'm supposed to do and expect it just didn't click. I can say I'm glad to stick it out because so far this game is incredible.

I found this game in a desperate search to recreate my old experience from playing Rogue Squadron or starfox 64, and while those games were series of scripted events, this game feels fresh and fun to me.

Everyone has already stated but the visuals are absolutely gorgeous. Controls feel tight on controller, I wouldn't recommend trying to play this with mouse and keyboard. If you're attempting it early on and just repeatedly dying, I'd recommend watching some gameplay and a lot of things will start to make sense and feel accessible.
