As a CK2 veteran I must highly reccomend Crusader Kings III ! If you wanted to get into CK2 but found it too hard/overwhelming then this is the game for you, it has all the same freedom that CK2 had, but streamlined and optimised for maximum fun. Being a King as never been this easy!

For seemingly such a simple game, it's easy to sink hours into the playthrough, there's always fun new things to discover and try. Highly recomended, a little gem of steam store and well worth the price.
