This is a really simple, yet surprisingly fun and relaxing game. It's perfect for doing something when you're talking to people or just taking your mind off things without trying too hard.

You basically control a red dot that grapples onto blocks and swings around the level, trying to fly into bars that rise and fall with your momentum that are on top of the blocks. When you're moving faster, the bars rise higher, making them easier to hit, and they award more points. In addition, there is also a bottom part of the level submerged in water that basically works the same way except gravity is reversed.

When you start out, it's a bit tricky but you get the hang of it quickly and the movement becomes very smooth and enjoyable. The levels are randomly generated, so on occasion you'll get a really hard level with lots of block clusters, but even if you aren't done with a level, you can keep advancing to new levels until you get one you like.

With all these expensive triple A games and fancy shooters, I still come back to Floating Point for a chill time without fail. I mean, it's free, so what have you got to lose?
