Goosebumps in the first part, (the music with the automatons) that rekindles the spirit of my love for these games. However the game still has this strange movement features that came in part 3, maybe its a bit better, but still not much, and damn why does it need to be so slow......even on my i7 GTX 1070 with 32 gb ram........i was already thinking whats happening or is this all.....
(also my controller didnt work although it said supporting it)

I at least hope its less buggy when it comes out, not like 3 was. Although it says pre-order it on steam, you can only wishlist it.

And the name of Benoit Sokal only appears after starting the game, meaning perhaps he just mentioned as the original creator but no influence??

There are two time lines now, to play two persons. I do say i do not recognize the old kate anymore, but I do see a lot of references to the current world.............

I do like it very much. I just missed the Black friday sale to get another one, so I if someone wants to get rid of theirs?????
It does need to get used too, but they are sturdy, can take a beat or a (multiple) fall on the floor.
The only thing that could be better is a textured or rubberized grip on the sides I think.
But it responds better than my xbox look alike, and the buttons dont wear out too quick like on that one.

Just like the Steam Link its a good product, and just when I think of getting another one, they stop selling them.....

Very Nice game, good ambient music, I read somewhere it reminded to Twin Peaks. Yes it has that eerieness to it.

Puzzles are good, real brain teasers. In a way its a bit like the Room, just one house and its close surroundings. But nicely layed out. And with a kind of glasses to show secrets/hints.

At some point I thought I was close to the end, but no, so that required some more thinking. I also saw already people making Walkthroughs, but for me that takes away the charm and the fun of solving it yourself. Its also got some hidden achievements, and I must admit the last one for me I wouldnt have found without some help from the community hahaha.

At the end there was a part of a radio show about a haunted house, maybe it was a little bit off topic, but which I really liked to hear out to the end.

You can perhaps play it in one run, if you're really quick, but I enjoyed all the time spend. There is a autosave and a save to be done by yourself.

Then the end came a bit abruptly, got the achievement, work is not finished, but it still ended there. So I hope for a sequel of some kind???? ;-)

Also I saw the developer actively participating in the community, helping out. Which is very nice.
I did not experience any bugs, although some people did, but in between playing a update was already pushed.

I'm going to play the other (earlier) title "The Search" for sure too.

Like the three games before, (which I played first on my mobile many a times), this has the same setup.
Its still as beautiful and mindboggling to solve the puzzles. Not to difficult, but a challenge to get the right number of moves and the secrets. One thing I miss is the voice actor and the end or beginning of the level.
Now its a letter you can read. I think the music is also the same like the predecessors, but stil relaxing when playing. Perfect to get your mind off.

Lovely puzzle game, beautiful made, and it really gets you thinking. Combination of different puzzels is what i like.
Little bit of a storylinem where you find hidden letters that explain.
A bit short, I played in one run, but thats also because it got me hooked hahaha.
Its also not expensive (especially in sale :-X)
And there are even two more to be played, two is already in the pocket, three is awaitiing

Well, thought it would be nice using a blade instead of the constant shooting gamery. It looked nice, and I really tried it for a few hours, but lost most time on the settings.

The display is always not completely visible. Tried every setting, but even when in a small window, while practicing the text is falling off the screen on the right side (and the translation to dutch is terrible, but cant even change it to english). Half of the time I didnt understand what to do, so if I got past to something it was more luck then skill I guess.

The mechanics are very clunky. Tried it with keyboard but it didnt response correctly, like the shuffle (shift something) didnt work and because of the many different buttons I turned to a gamepad, however getting that properly working was even worse.

Mind you I tried two gamepads, an xbox type and the steam version. The latter one seemed a bit better working, but the standard setting is so off (like weird), so tried other settings, even made my own. But I could not get the throwing into the settings. Its just not even available as an option. So i still would have to use the keyboard (and still would have to use the mouse in the menu settings - even there the keyboard was not working)

Then the character is terrible in turning, so I constantly get hit from behind or get stuck in a corner.
Like I said getting something done was more luck than skill, and without skill you dont get far, thats for sure.

So I was more and more getting irritated, and thats not the right way, so I just deleted it, guess its not for me.

BTW Also my antivirus kept kicking in and out, never had that before with a game
