I BELIEVE in treating people with respect. However, I don't suffer fools kindly, and I don't suffer sociopaths at all!

I BELIEVE that people matter - points don't. I'd prefer to end the game on a 'high', than on a 'high score'... try it, you might like it and make some great friends in the process.

I BELIEVE in playing for fun and friendship - winning is incidental... remember, THERE ARE NO PRIZES!

I BELIEVE that good sportmanship is the key to the success and future of HL2DM. The opposite is just as true.

I BELIEVE in helping others in need of assistance or who ask for help; and in sharing whatever knowledge I have with anyone who's interested in listening.

I BELIEVE the game needs to be played with some decorum. 'Legends in their own lifetime' who offend, flame, insult, bully, harass, intimidate or spray other players should be driven from the game for being the anti-social cretins they are.

I BELIEVE that spawn camping and spawn mining outside of formal competition or on 'extreme' servers is 'pure' cowardice that hurts the game. Killing opponents who cannot defend themselves IS NOT PLAYING THE GAME AT ALL... get it?

I BELIEVE that cheating in all its forms spoils the game for everyone. Individuals who can't play without cheating are simply confirming they cannot play the game at all... and should piss off and see a shrink, and leave the game to the rest of us who play it properly.

I BELIEVE that 'noob shoots' are the acts of gutless wonders. There is something fundamentally wrong with anyone over the age of 6 who gets off on monstering players of lesser skill. Such pathetic cretins should grow up, step up, or go and get professional psychiatric help... no one likes sociopaths, particularly when they stooge around spoiling the game for everyone else. If you can't hold your ground with players of your skill level, what does that tell you about your 'real' playing abilities???

I BELIEVE that the greatest achievements you can accomplish in this game are to be respected as a player by your opponents for your skill and gamesmanship; and as a friend by your peers for your qualities as a person.

Above all else, I BELIEVE IN HONOUR!

Misfit Force is a group of people who enjoy playing computer games together, primarily Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, but we get a kick out of other games too. We are an international clan comprised of people of various skill levels, from different backgrounds, who enjoy various types of gameplay in a fun environment with like minded people.

Friendly interaction is fundamental to Misfit Force Clan. We are not primarily a competition focussed clan nor a clan aiming at building up a large group of members. We are a clan aimed at having fun. If an individual has attributes that agree with the overall philosophy of the clan, i.e. a balanced attitude between friendly interaction and gameplay, then they are encouraged to join us. This does not mean that MF can not or will not be comprised of many members, however, it does mean that every new member must possess an MF attitude. We value quality over quantity.

We actively encourage male and female players of all ages to play on our servers. We do not tolerate any disrespectful behaviour of any kind. To that end, every member of the [MF] Clan are Admin on all of our servers and will deal with problem players in the appropriate manner. Act like a fool and you'll be treated like one.

Most people join the Misfit Force Clan Community Friend's Group because they are invited by a clan member, or have an interest in the clan. However, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT JOINING THE FRIENDS GROUP DOES NOT CONFER CLAN MEMBERSHIP. If you are interested in becoming a member of the clan, introduce yourself to [MF] or [MFx] tagged members and play regularly with us on our servers until we get to know each other - it's just that simple :)
