Valve screwed the mouse control, and now there's noticeable lag on every mouse movement you make. In a competitive shooter. AKA a game where smooth responsive mouse movement is the single most important and integral part of the game.

Don't buy it.

Started to get motion sickness within 2 minutes from the massive head bob effects that you can't turn off. 100% unplayable for me, unfortunately.

Mostly a tech thing for me.
No other game puts my cpu above 85 degrees, but with this it hit 112 and thermal throttled.
Not sure if it's connected to the poor performance, but it felt like the game had mouse deceleration as well.

The only thing that works on release and is feature complete is the cosmetics store full of predatory pricing and bundling. Awful shameless tactics from Fatshark who have thrown out all the progress they made from vermintide 2 and essentially started from square one with a broken shell of a game that is nowhere near as good.

Almost the entire ARPG experience in 30 minutes.

If you fix the framerate, FoV, mouse acceleration, ADS sensitivity, horizontal/vertical sensitivity and depth of field it's actually fun to play.

A unique FPS capable in both mechanics and level design of holding your enthusiasm and excitement for long periods, this game ticked all the boxes recently by homogenising tiered rewards, no longer requiring you to purchase or randomly find high rarity loadout cards to get all the best weapons and perks. Still a grind wall, but an acceptable one if you're not bothered by unlocks.

Like dark souls, if everything didn't fit together and the atmosphere sucked.

Awful camera, dodgy combat, no working features and nonsensical design priorities.

Good movement with forgiving but tight control, good range of effective and fun weapons.

Literally nobody plays it though.
