Once you get past the first hour or so the game starts getting fun, its quite repetitive but it keeps you engaged, combat feels nice and is difficult at times, the fast pace is great for some good old ARPG fun, you can feel a sense of progression and the story is ok, the delivery of the voice lines is quite poor but the graphics and momentum of the game keeps it interesting...

No paywalls anywhere, you get a full game unlike other greedy developers fromsoft deserves our utmost respect!
Yes the game has some flaws, like some bosses repeating here and there, but judging the size of the game it is ok... coop and pvp are abit wierd, but the features are still enjoyable as a whole.

this is 100% game of the year in my eyes, vast underground areas to explore, dungeons, hidden places, the story even is often hidden xD, puzzles to solve, Jumping, mount double jumping, lots of rolling, lots of different type of playstyles, the combat mechanics are really solid (you can feel the weight of attacks and the fluidity of movement etc), so many hidden things to explore in the game, the open world is big and rewarding to explore, the game doesnt hold your hand at all. There is a serious learning curve, but once you master certain elements of the game it can be a breeze ^^. Also for people who find the game too challenging, you can just go grind and lvl your character, improve your weapon and get weapon arts and spells and stuff to make your experience less daunting. I am now on my 5th playthrough (NG+4) and the game is still super enjoyable, even after i have explored 99% of the content it is still fun due to the combat mechanics. overall i can say that this game deserves full respect and in the future I will buy more fromsoft games, they deserve all the praise!

I highly recommend this game to any singleplayer rpg fans, even multiplayer ones, its got something about it that just makes it worth playing. dont miss this gem"!
