CS:GO Review
It's been probably a decade since i've played CSS, honestly never thought i would get back into it. Picked it up and i find myself losing track of time, playing "just one more match". Considering the lack of competitive FPS out there right now and a love for this game that goes back a good ways, it's like seeing a long lost friend. I highly recommend it.

Uncharted for PC? Maybe but i'm still trying to understand why that is a bad thing.. This game is addicting and appropriately balanced with puzzles/platforming and action. The upgrade/skill system is a nice feature and it honestly doesn't feel stagnant like most, it's just simple so it doesn't get in the way of the game. The story is applicable for the game and it's interesting to see Lara transcend from a person unsure of herself to a grizzled adventurer willing to do what it takes to survive and save her friends. The narrative is nothing award winning but it's good enough. The gameplay however is spot on. They've absolutely nailed the fluidity in switching weapons, aiming, climbing, dodging, and everything that you would associate with Lara's abilities. The graphics could be one of the biggest surprises of the game for me. I've found myself taking more screenshots of this game than Crysis 3. Tressfx combined with well done and detailed character models is just stunning. AMD has something with TressFx in my opinion for once i don't miss PhsyX. From closeups of Lara with each strand delicately rendered to backdrops of caved ruins and mountain sides the visuals in this game when maxed are breath taking. If you like the Uncharted series you will love this game. I can't recommend it enough, honestly it's one of the bigger surprises of this years PC games.

If you've seen my recommendation for RO2 you'll know i'm a big fan of the game. Rising Storm is worth every penny. The Pacific theater of WWII is vastly unaccounted for in Cinema and Video games. With the exception of Medal Of Honor Pacific Assault you rarely see a WWII Pacific Theater based game. I can honestly say this is one of the best multiplayer experiences i've had in first person shooters. I find it more appealing than RO2 itself. The maps are done extremely well and are better in my opinion than the RO2 maps. It's almost hard to explain but you get the feeling of terror when you hear the Banzi charge and see 32 players running at the trench your set to defend, It makes for fantastic excitement and adrenaline rush. If you like RO2 and have always wanted a WWII game set in the Pacific, it's here.

What battlefield 1942 should've been. This game is extrememly unique. The fact that it's so unforigving and realistic yet still manages maintain the fun is amazing. Arma for instance you have to be in an extreme realism mood to play, and if i'm not in that mood the realism drags it down for me. When a single shot to the torso equates to your demise this game builds tension of nostalgia like Ghost recon, Rainbow six, etc. It causes you to move with the utmost consideration of your surroundings. This creates a very heavy dose of satisfaction when you kill an enemy. The satisfying kills you have to work for, tactical teamwork incorporated, and the extreme immersion this game creates is in a league of it's own for First person shooters. It's my diamond in the rough, i've been waiting for a game like this for some time, and tripwire has pulled it off. The moment i saw that they had actually incorporated changing out barrels in the Mg32 i just simply smiled, and thought to myself "well done"
