Bought this for really cheap. Very cool simple game, definitely worth the price.

Ugh, could only handle 10 minutes. 70s?? Please try to research anything about the 70s before attempting to simulate something from the 70s. Why bother even saying it's the 70s? A shaggy haired unshaven janitor calling the skinny jean wearing emo hipster whatever kid a hippie?

The voice acting is also very robotic and the dialogue is awkward and mind numbing.

It might be a nice game, don't know. I wanted to get to the part where you stole Carl Sagan's image but couldn't make it that far.

To quote the creators of Chuchel, you might consider your character- "being associated with ‘blackface’, a theatrical racial stereotype which emerged in the United States in the 19th century."

This is more of a rant by a guy obviously too old for these games. I guess i've included some spoilers, sorry, they shouldn't disrupt your experience any more than the incoherent babbling throughout the game already.

Maybe I'm just getting too old to be playing these games but it sure seemed like some kind of lazy kid nonsense. The horrible work ethic, drinking on the job, etc. So many instances of characters and even the writers themselves appearing ignorant, for lack of a better word. Why would anyone conclude that a barometer or any of the other normal scientific equipment be used to spy on someone? Tapping a two-way radio even? You just change the channel, anyone on your frequency can "tap" you if you wanna call it that. And cassette players...sorry, they don't work like that (tracks?). Why would the burned out old cabin have the same spotting equipment as the watch towers? Geographically, that would've been a poor location for another tower and too close to the others to serve any purpose. (maybe why they burned it down) Speaking of burning down, I somehow missed how the fire started near the end?? Maybe I accidentally turned on that barometer, you know how flammable those things are.

I found it difficult to relate to a lazy, entitled, idiot alcoholic, with stubby little hands and legs -*spoiler*- the girls at the lake were probably right in their assumption. I wished the entire time that I could choose a different character to play as.

The story seemed to have strange holes and inconsistencies, but that's a whole other discussion.

I really liked the vintage travel poster style to everything. I liked the game overall, just hated it at the same time.

Credit due to the guys who put in the time and dedication to make this game. Not sure how anyone working for the Forest or Parks Services would appreciate the portrayals though. A lot of hard working and dedicated toes you stomped on there.

Looks like someone building random shacks in a flood canal where they shouldn't have. (Note the steep, undeveloped terrain, the large pipes at the ends and leading into the canal, and the broken chain linked fencing that someone knocked down to trespass).

Hint: This area is where water drains so that we don't have floods in the neighborhoods.

Moral: If your journey involves trespassing, your destination is a mess for everyone else to clean up.

I couldn't get past the fact that there was no objective between the first two, involving washing your hands.
