Still playing this after so many years, I could never get into the '1 army per resource' of Civ 5 so stayed with Civ4 which has a vibrant Mod scene.
I highly recommend the civ fanatics website and in particular the caveman to cosmos mod here http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=449

I see you also have as many hours in CIV4 as me! Caveman2Cosmos is perhaps the most ambitious mod I have ever seen for this game.

1 army per resource?I dont understand that.I loved 5 to death and when i got BNW i went beyond that.114 hours on and will probaly spend another 300 before i get bored. I didnt like the whole 1 military unit per tile thing,but it was okay.Im thinking about trying out IV,but im not quite shure...
