Not a fun addition. Why are you adding forward firing guns to a game where you are always moving away?

It's anathema to the gameplay and discourages exploration.

Very good game let down by the developers inability to write a proper sentence, or the translation.

Harsh but this is a game where syntax REALLY matters. For example:

"Activate the right-side Organ and make it crit while effects of the left-side Organ expire"

Da ♥♥♥♥ does that mean, right? Now read:

"Activate the right-side Organ and make it crit when effects of the left-side Organ expire"

Simple change and you can actually tell what's going on.

You have to read abilities because that's the whole game so the devs need to be trusted to write abilities properly and they can't be. This is a complex game with complex interactions. The devs need to do better.

I want to recommend the game but it's a PITA to try to play due to dummy errors by the devs.

Absolutely borked trying to play on controller. It just becomes unresponsive and won't do anything trying to move around the menu.

It's a shame because it's a cool concept but, man, they screwed the pooch on the basics. The B button is the pause menu? Stop smoking crack, devs

Very fun game but needs serious balance work.

Not sure how the devs thought the minigun had a good balance when you can only fire forward and the whole game is running away from things that chase you constantly. Other weapons just feel very weak and it reflects in the damage stats at the end of the match.

Digging is a problem as well because non-digger dwarves take way too long to dig. Makes sense, right? Well, all of your end of stage enhancements come out of the stuff you dig so it just results in awful experience where you can barely upgrade while diggers are laughinggoldenkinghomer gif.

Finally, magnets are way to rare, you're lucky to get one a match.

TLDR: Good game, bad balance

You can't vote kick inactive players without a mod. I didn't need to go any further than the first game to know this game is rotten. Literally, the first game I tried to play had an inactive player and we're sitting there with our thumbs up our asses for 10 minutes cause Dad left to go buy a pack of smokes and never came back.

Really good battle system, but the story has been pretty basic so far.

Incredibly fun with a lot of depth to the combat even if there's a fairly limited number of levels. Each game feels unique and there are lots of exciting moments on higher difficulty.

I played some of Vermintide 1/2 and while they're fun games in their own right, I find the dodge mechanics of Darktide to be extremely enjoyable and really can't go back after learning how to dodge. It really adds to the combat and increases your ability to get those clutch plays.

For a good time, call A-s-s-a-i-l P-s-y-k-e-r with a lasgun rifle and blaze force sword

Good game before the most recent patch, now the game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I was getting 240 fps previously and it is now capped at 60 fps. Everything feels sluggish and the game looks notably worse.
