Modernized version of "what should have been fallout 3".
Pleasant gfx, sfx and story.
It could have had more tracks and plot branches in late game though.
Does not hold your hand in game mechanics and solution solving that much, which is on most occations a good thing.
One exception would probably be the Exitus puzzle, I figure many people ragequit from this one.
Difficulty is extremly uneven, especially for your first unguided playthrough.
I would rate this half a point below fallout 1+2.

Bethesda ruined the Fallout series by incorporating elements of "The Elder Scrolls". They basically changed the game so that the average tardo could play with minimum thinking skills. In doing so, they stripped out the most important features that made Fallout a huge success in the first place.

fallout 3 was a dream come true compared to the pile of shit that I pre ordered a few months back
