Early Access Review
Interesting Bullet Heaven/Roguelite spin of Vampire Survivors. So far in Early Access has almost two handfull characters to play, which are quite different. You can equip items you can permanently store through an NPC.
You can complete Quests to unlock traits/items and characters etc., which act as achievements.
Right now (Nov 2023) has 4 maps to play on, with one game mode (the "usual" 30 minutes survival, with minibosses/elites and a main boss at the end).
Oh and the Devs Chasing Carrots are from Germany, which for me as a native german is always a plus :D
My main issue right now is the content variety. Game needs more maps, items, enemies... more everything.
I hope the Devs keep up with the development of the game, its good right now but could be awesome.

Addictingly fun in short bursts. Proves you don´t need an AAA Budget and Graphics to hook players, a fun gameplay loop is enough. I played pretty much 80% of my playtime on the Steam Deck, which works really well and in fact brought me to play/replay games in my Steam Library I almost forgot about.

Better than Kingmaker by a mile.
One of the best RPGs I ever played, BUT still has bugs that may or may not be a reason for you to wait playing it.
In fact they are a reason for me to wait. I played about 20 to 25 hours of the game on another storefront (in real time mode, it also has a TB mode), and will definitely play the Steam version when its up to my standard I consider "playable". The class/race/spell variatoion is mind boggling. Actually you can add about 5 hours to my hours just gasping at the Stat sheet deciding what to play.
Don´t let that completely turn you off the game though, it most definitely is on the top tier of RPGs.
Full review when I actually finished the game.

Actually pretty fun Soulslike in space, with a interesting lore and world. Impressive for an 11 person Dev team.
Yeah it lacks polish in some areas like animations, some Bossfights, and the general world diversity ( its a Space Station, so you don´t have THAT much different looking zones. Though the Devs did a good job with the areas.)
Mechanics are pretty similar : something that acts like a Bonfire, currency you loose on death (but can recover), interconnected world, Bossfights, lore snippets etc..
Combat too feels very Soulslike with different melee weapons, firearms, and a kind of magic. The general feel and impact of the individual hits could be improved , and also Hit detection was a bit off but got patched. All in all combat is ok though.
One bigger difference is that "Bonfires" do not refill your healing method ! You actually need to defeat enemies to do that ( a small circle fills up, when its full you get a heal back. Also you can recover your lost "Souls", but every time you die a ghost of you spawns and tries to kill you. The ghost has the exact weapons, armor etc. you had when you died, and follows and finds you everywhere.
I surely hope Cradle Games sells enough copies of this game to warrant a sequel, I bet it would be awesome what they could do with a better budget and a few more team members
