I like this game, but crashing is making it unplayable for me. This has been an issue since release. Some times I can play for 6 hours before it hits, other times its every 10-15 minutes. If I am in combat with *anything* and I DC the NPC will kill me and I'm forced to respawn and take a durability hit. Lost a fair bit of gold to this and repair bills.

I am sitting around 140 hours 'played' but a lot of this (maybe half?) is from sitting in queues. Recent changes have made the queue basically zero all the time though, to be fair. I am not sure if players left my server or if the max # of players that can be in at one time was substantially increased.

Anyway, my issue with the game right now are the frequent crashes to desktop (with no error message on screen) or when I get BSOD from Windows.

There is a file in the game directory called like GameCrashUploaderLog and it has lots of complaints about failed to retrieve stuff from memory. I have run windows memory checking (on my brand new computer) and there are no issues at all. I can play lots of other games or do normal pc stuff like movies and web browsing and i never see any issues. I have the newest gfx drivers available and all the windows updates. I have tried running the game at lower quality and FPS, in a window, but still have the same problem. My graphics card should be more than enough to run this at full settings since its a 3070. 32 GB of system ram, huge beefy page file for windows, and a 12 core Ryzen processor.

This is really killing my desire to play the game. Some of my friends are now at or near level 60 but i've not yet broken level 40. I have lots of time where i could be playing but the crashes are so frustrating at times that I just dont reconnect since it feels pointless. I would ask steam for a refund but the truth is I like the game and want to play it, but right now it feels impossible.

I am hopeful it will get better soon, as the game really has only been out a few weeks, but I dont even see my issue on the current known issue forum posts which is shocking since I see a lot of similar complaints on reddit and in discord. Surely my PC alone must be sending AWS a ton of game crash logs since I can see the uploader program running when the game dies. Hope the data helps expedite a fix, if not i may end up in some new game and wont be back to this.
