Ehhhhhhhhhh, this is a mixed bag. I'll try to be brief.

The DLC features a story questline and a 'kill epic-level captains' 'questline' that reward the player with equipment that, when certain challenges are completed or a set is collected, provide certain stat or effect bonuses to stats/abilities. Honestly, these 'equipment quests' actually take up more of the playtime IIRC, and I found them to be substantially less enjoyable, and for a simple reason; Although the player, playing as Eltariel rather than Talion, is given a fairly interesting set of abilities that play differently from the base game, the captain NPCs (whom the player will spend a great deal of their time fighting) are immune to Eltariel's primary 'ability' as well as many of your standard attacks. The worst example of this mechanic is a defender orc that is immune to most attacks to get around his shield, but cannot be vaulted over, so you get stuck in a long battle throwing peanuts at a guy to unlock another reskin with stat changes. (As a side note, there are two armor/weapon models, the standard armor, which you start with, has a reskin as the reward for collecting all of the challenge armors, which are just reskins of each other, two of which are different shades of green.)

Story wise you are chasing down a pair of female japanese nazgul, which is nonsense, lore-wise. Since it's just a game, it's not the end of the world by any stretch, but comes off as goofy.

The DLC can be enjoyable, and has several amusing (if, again, goofy) orc characters, as well as being a decent epilogue to the end of the base game's story, so although I'm being critical, it doesn't mean that you won't enjoy it, but be warned going in, especially at full price. Ultimately buy it on sale if you want more SoW, but if you don't want to spend a ton of time for diminishing rewards, grab Baranor's DLC, it's way better.

Ugly, dark (even by Fallout standards), depressing, morally "questionable" decision kinda felt *meh* to me.... I don't know, this DLC just didn't really appeal all that much. I mean, trogs are just annoying, raiders are, well, raiders. And Ashur is just your garden variety dictator. (Because CLEARLY we havn't seen any of those before)

The DLC DOES add in some cool armor/weapons, so there is that, I would suggest playing this DLC first so you end on a high point with one of the other add-ons. Even though I'm not a Pitt fan, I would still recommend buying the Pitt merely to comeplete the collection.

Ok, I just finished this game. I loved it. I am a transformers nerd (No doubt about that) and this game (I think anyways) tends to be very underrated. I recommend it to anyone who likes/loves transformers, sometimes it seems like there's a lot happening on the screen at any one time but that is part of why I love this game. The dialog (especially Thundercracker and Skywarp) can is very entertaning, but it's not constantly jokes-and-puns, so it's not overbearing. Anywho, I love this game, if you like Transformers and thirdperson shooter games, you probably will too!

Cons:-Guardians will kick your %^$
-Can't detach turret weaponry as in WFC
-It's VERY hard to get a multiplayer game.*
-Casually skims over the Dark Energon idea from WFC
-Melee isn't as useful as in WFC

Violence: Considering that everyone is robot, the occasional dismemberment or decapitation may not bother you. There are some places you can find heads lined up in a row, but the heads just look like helmets with vizors. There also some parts towards the beginning where wounded Autobots will be sparking from various parts, indicating they got beat pretty hard. There will also be a splash of Energon (For those who don't know Energon is the Transformer's equivalent to blood) on your screen whenever you melee someone.

Personally I'd rate the violence 7.5/10 considering everything is robotic.

Swearing: No swearing. All they might say are some Transformer-fied words like "scrap" instead of "crap". Multiplayer also has no mic or chat system. Thus no foul language can easily be found there. The only way I could think of there being language in the MP mode is if someone's name had swearing in it, which I have yet to come across.

I'd rate the language 0.1/10

Difficulty: On easy and normal settings, this game is fun, not very hard at all. Except for Cliffjumper's level. This level (Eye of the Storm) is a stealth level, pure and simple. However eventually they reveal the Gaurdian class Decepticon. These guys are tough. They have strong weaponry and can see through your invisibility cloaker, so you have to out-manuver them to kill them. It is also good to note that you can hid in small tunnels to hide from them if need be. (Guardians also appear in Starscream's level: Starscream's Betrayal.)

Conclusion: If you love Transformers, you'll love this game. It takes place entirely on Cybertron, so there are no humans to be found. Fun dialogue, tons of easter eggs, and classic characters all help make this game a favorite of mine, hopefully you'll enjoy it too!

*I have found it best to look for a multiplayer game on the weekends, and search for Team Death Match when your looking, it seems to be the most populated gamemode.
