Great little puzzle game that's very reminiscent of Nintendo 3DS eShop games like Box Boy, making good use of a single multi-purpose mechanic that never overstays its welcome, though I wish it was a bit longer. Still highly recommended.

So, I'm not exactly sure what this game was like prior to the release of the NEXT (1.5) update but what I've been playing or thinking about non-stop for the last three days makes me feel like I'm playing a completely different game made by a completely different studio than the game everyone harrassed the developers for two years ago.

It's 100% not going to win over anyone who isn't a fan of survival sandbox games (the starting hour or two is a mess and will turn away a lot of people) but what's presently in the game is honestly some of the most engaging content I've experienced in the genre. I've encountered quite a few problems with the UI, mission progression and crafting (some people start with recipes that others don't have, making progression and base building nearly impossible at the start) but the developers seem to be updating the experimental branch very frequently with fixes that make it to the main client within hours.

Despite the issues, I'm really impressed with how seemless everything in this and how much depth there is and I hope the developers can keep up with the demands and interest from the community. I'm glad they didn't give up on their game.
